Tech 21 Unveils a Steve Harris SH1 Signature SansAmp

Clifton, NJ (October 9, 2019) — A loyal hands-on professional, Steve Harris not usually shaped Iron Maiden (in 1975!), he writes a bulk of their songs, plays mixed instruments, mixes recordings, leads and edits both live and prolongation videos, and sings. As if that wasn’t enough, Steve somehow finds time for British Lion, that he describes as a side plan that’s some-more mainstream stone than metal.

When it comes to Steve’s rig, surprisingly it has hardly altered in roughly 40 years. What has never altered is his handmade tradition pre-amp, a “Alectron,” as good as his cherished tradition selected Marshall cabs installed with EV speakers. While this partnership began as a resolution for furloughed with British Lion, as it wasn’t unsentimental to transport with his full supply for smaller venues, a SH1 has warranted a place as a member of his live sound on Iron Maiden’s Legacy of a Beast 2019 tour.

When Tech 21 sent a strange antecedent of a pedal to Steve while in operation with British Lion, he had this to say: “The debate is going fantastic. And a reason it’s going illusory is this small thing here. It’s unbelievable. [Andrew Barta] is a genuine boffin [translation: technical expert]. Because he’s managed to copy my EV orator sounds, that we adore so much. And it’s in this small box. Whatever he’s done, he’s finished this thing sound like my sound. So, good done, mate.”

Known for his galloping fleet-fingered drum lines, Steve’s particular character and tinge have, and continue to be, compulsory reading –whether you’re into steel or not. Like Tech 21’s other signature gear, a SH1 is not only for one singular tinge or genre. The controls are designed to yield an expanded operation of adjustability so we can dial in a far-reaching spectrum of drum tones as well.

The Steve Harris SH1 facilities all-analog SansAmp technology, dual channel modes with particular Gain and Level controls, Blend, 4-band active EQ, and a Bite switch to activate a “Steve” boost for additional rattle and clarity. Other facilities embody chromatic tuner and an XLR Output to go approach to a PA table or studio board. Rugged all-metal housing measures 7.75”l x 2.5”w x 1.25”h and weighs only 12 oz.

US Street price: $299
